Book Announcement
I’d like to alert you à titre amical to the publication at long last of a book of mine that has been in gestation at UNESCO for nearly six years, courtesy to a large extent of the chaos wrought when the US withdrew its budgetary support. The book is entitled Sustaining Literacy in Africa: Developing a Literate Environment and is available principally online at http://unesdoc.unesco.org/images/0022/002252/225258e.pdf, though I do have about two dozen hard copies, should anyone passionately desire one.
