Subject: would you please help?
I am a researcher from the University of Illinois, conducting a study of how access to legal marriage impacts same-sex couples. Our first wave of data collection needs to be finished before the Supreme Court rules in June. Georgia is one of the states in which we are recruiting. Participants can earn up to $60. Would you be willing to advertise the study to your members? We are looking for people in same-sex, different-sex, and gender-complicated relationships.
I realize you may be inundated with requests from researchers and so I want to make sure you can see that we are legit. Here is information about us, and about the project:

Thank you very much for considering this request. If you are willing, I can send you a newsletter blurb and/or other materials that you request. Please email me (email@example.com) with any questions or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you.
