Welcome! The President and Board of Directors are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2016 AHEA conference. We expect it to be an energetic and collaborative experience for all who attend. Those who attended in 2015 consistently commented on the intimate, collegial and collaborative environment that was experienced.

The theme of the conference for 2016, “Current Explorations of the Adult Learner: Implications for Mentoring and More!” focuses on “current” answers to old questions. While it seems simplistic in nature, we must occasionally revisit the issues and topics that begged the emergence of our field many years ago.

We invite graduate students, faculty, administrators and practitioners to collaborate with us in the exploration of the theme. Consider your unique approaches to “Mentoring and More”, the best practices you have observed or implemented, a position you have or will take based on literature and research, or a simple group discussion of an issue important to your practice and our field. Submit your proposal based in the online link and plan on joining us for this exciting event.

If you have questions or we can help you in preparing for the conference, please do not hesitate to contact us.

See you in Orlando!
