Enriching the Adult Learner’s Experience
in Higher Education
Based on the AHEA-Sponsored book for 2024.
Enriching the Adult Learner’s Experience in Higher Education aims to explore innovative strategies, best practices, and research findings to improve the educational journey of adult learners in universities and colleges. Recognizing adult students’ unique needs and challenges, this conference will bring educators, administrators, policymakers, and researchers together to share insights and discuss practical solutions to enhance the adult learner experience. Topics might include navigating the enrollment cliff, creating a positive classroom environment, diversity and inclusion, enhancing student engagement, flexible learning approaches, and adult learners’ mental health and well-being.
Proposals are being accepted for submission until October 30, 2023
We invite you to submit a proposal for a conference presentation highlighting the aspects of your work or research related to these ideas. While we welcome proposals within the conference theme, all proposals regarding Adult and Higher Education issues are welcome. Presenters can choose Poster sessions or Concurrent sessions (45 minutes).

CONFERENCE FEE
Virtual session (February 28, 2024): $25.00/student and $50.00/for all others; book not included. Includes online conference, the opportunity to submit a paper to the Conference Proceedings (see below), and one year of membership to AHEA.
In-person session (March 13-15th, 2024): $150.00 for students (USF students are free) and $290.00 for all others. Includes access to the online conference, three-day attendance at the 2024 conference, the ability to submit a paper to the Conference Proceedings (see below), a copy of the book, and one year of membership to AHEA. The book is not included for free registrants.
