The AHEA Book Series has published books associated with the 2011, 2012, and 2013 joint Adult Higher Education Alliance (AHEA) and American Association of Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) Conferences. This year, there will not be a joint conference; however, the book series will move forward with the fourth installment.

For the next book, we are soliciting proposals from our membership for an authored or coauthored book to be published in 2016. The topic of the book should be related to adult learning in professional, organizational, or community settings. Appropriate types of manuscripts will focus on presenting original research, building on theory, presenting a model, and/or sharing innovative practices. Manuscripts intended for practitioner audiences and academic audiences are  welcomed.

The deadline for submitting a proposal is September 30, 2014. Authors will be notified of the proposal acceptance by October 13, 2014. All proposals will be reviewed on a double-blind basis. If you would like further information about this endeavor, contact

Dr. Carrie Boden-McGill at AHEABookSeries@gmail.com or 501-416-5012.
